Hi, I’m Erika

I am the heart behind Soteria Journeys. A space for grief, healing, ritual, reflection, and reconnection.

My work grew from my own experiences with grief, spirituality, and the many ways we move through life's thresholds. I believe healing isn't about fixing ourselves or finding a way to "move on." Sometimes, it's about learning how to live alongside what has changed, making space for what we're feeling, and discovering new ways to connect with ourselves and the world around us. Creating meaning for ourselves.

Through sound healing, reiki, tarot, ritual, and grief tending, I create spaces where you can slow down, go within, and explore whatever season of life you're currently moving through.

What does “Soteria” mean?

Soteria is an ancient Greek word associated with safety, deliverance, preservation, and liberation. It can also refer to a goddess or personification of safety and salvation.

I chose the name because it reflects the kind of space I want to create: one where you can feel safe enough to explore, grieve, question, process, transform, and return to yourself.

And so, Soteria Journeys means a place to safely journey through whatever threshold you're standing in. To deliver yourself safely on your journey.

My Approach

I don't believe there is a single right way to heal.

My approach brings together grief education, sound healing, reiki, tarot, ritual, and intuitive guidance to create space for reflection, connection, and integration. Depending on what you're moving through, our work might look like a conversation, a tarot reading, a sound journey, energy work, ritual, or simply having someone witness what you're carrying without trying to fix it.

You are your own healer, and you are the expert on your own experience. My role is to offer tools, perspective, and a grounded space for you to explore what you need.

Whether you're navigating grief, standing at a crossroads, seeking spiritual connection, or simply feeling called to reconnect with yourself, we'll find the approach that meets you where you are.

A Place to Begin

You don't need to have the right words. You don't need to know exactly what you need. And you definitely don't need to have it all figured out before you arrive.

Sometimes the first step is simply creating a little space to listen.

Whenever you're ready, I'd be honored to meet you there.
